I cannot express how freaking excited I am!!!
Got tickets to The Police in Atlanta!!! Going with 2 of my best friends from college. I can't wait!!!!!! Of course I have to- the show isn't till mid-November. Oh well, time flies!!!
Ok so I also finally got off my butt and did some scanning, Cyndi, this one's for you-- tell me if you're in it or not! :)

This is not a test!
So for the first time in my life I experienced the Emergency Alert System that was NOT a test! It was kinda skeery. I was watching some L&O SVU on USA and blam! the screen goes grey and there's that horrible noise. I'm all WTF?!? And then they start with the warning. There was a tornado warning in my county. I had to sit and think-- warning, that's the bad one, right? So they told me to take cover in my bathroom or with a blanket over my head. Seriously. However, since I had Ringo on my chest and he's kinda a scaredy cat when it comes to storms, and the place where the tornado touched down was like an hour away, we just switched to the news and watched the doppler and we were safe. Still quite freaky though.

To Go or not To Go
That is the question...
So my 20 year HS reunion is coming up next month. My first instinct was NO WAY! I didn't like most of those people then, why would I want to see them now? But I confess I am curious. If I could be invisible, I would DEFINITELY go. But I pretty much decided no.
And then yesterday something happened that almost is making me change my mind. I got this random email forward from a vaguely familiar address, but I couldn't place it, nor did I recognize the other names it was sent to. It also had my old name on it, which made me know it wasn't spam, and that it had to be someone from my past. So I replied asking who it was.
It was a girl who was one of my closest friends back in HS. She accidentally added me when she sent it. So now we've been emailing and reconnecting and she's going and it's almost tempting me to go too! What to do...
Oh and since my scanner's not hooked up I just took a picture with my cell of a pic of her and I that I had. :) Oh and yes, that is an electric blue lame prom dress I'm wearing. What can I say? It was 1987...
Technically I've missed the deadline to sign up, but I bet if I wanted to, I still could. So should I?
